All instructors are master groomers and have over 30 years in the professional pet grooming industry. So many groomers are self taught individuals with no professional training which never are consistent in their grooming therefore, never pleasing the customer. Groomers are in the service business and if your customer is not happy they will not come back.
The cost of the course is $6,000.00. This price includes a "toolbox" which includes approximately $1,800.00 of equipment which the student needs as tools of the trade. This equipment is the property of the student and is the responsibility of the student after it is issued. Equipment list available upon request.
There is a nationwide need for professional groomers. Your possibilities of income are enormous. Most good groomers usually end up working for themselves and start their own businesses because the income is greater. But still for any good groomer that works for another person, earns 50% of each groom. Former students have made as much as $35,000 in their first year of business. Veterinarians are sending their vet-techs to grooming school to add grooming as an additional service provided by their clinics. The revenues generated greatly cover the investment and a no-compete contract with the groomer covers the cost invested by the clinic.
